The leader of the Houthi movement, Abdul Malik Al Houthi, stated that military operations in the southern Red Sea will continue as long as the blockade and aggression on Gaza persist.

He also mentioned ongoing naval operations with a plan to extend them to the Indian Ocean, causing concern among Western ships.

Houthi noted a significant decrease, up to 80 percent, in American ships passing through the Red Sea, leading to a rise in insurance costs to around USD 50 million.

Additionally, he mentioned the disruption of the port of Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat), resulting in a decline in enemy exports and imports due to attacks by Houthi forces.
