Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh Sunday highlighted the importance of Jordan's achievement in improving its credit rating by Moody's for the first time in 21 years during a cabinet session.

Khasawneh emphasized Jordan's progress in international agency rankings and its successful financial reviews with the International Monetary Fund as significant for the national economy.

He also noted the state's success in controlling inflation, achieving balance in trade, and enhancing its international presence, stating these accomplishments reflect the country's resilience and strength.

He also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Finance, its teams, the Central Bank of Jordan, and various ministerial and service departments in achieving this milestone.

In the same context, the Prime Minister firmly rejected any Israeli Occupation military operations on Rafah and the displacement or creation of conditions for displacing Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

He affirmed Jordan's steadfast position in supporting and backing the Palestinian people, asserting that this does not contradict the regular functioning of public life and the decisive decisions that demonstrate the state's confidence in its decisions, leadership, and capabilities.

Khassawneh concluded that a strong and resilient Jordan is best equipped to support Arab causes, primarily the Palestinian issue.
